QR code tracking for signs and flyers

Yard signs and door hangers work, but normally you have no idea which ones. QR tracking fixes that: put a code on the material, and every scan and booking traces back to where you left it.
It's Leads > QR codes, and it's marked INCLUDED WITH YOUR PLAN.

1. Get started
The page opens on "Start tracking your signs" with a Get started button.

2. Choose your materials
The setup describes itself plainly: "Choose which materials you put out: yard signs, door hangers, or flyers. Every pin your team drops is then tracked automatically."
That last part is the clever bit. It ties into the Map. When a rep drops a Yard Sign pin, that placement is recorded against a location, so a scan later can be traced to the sign at that address rather than to "signs" in general.

3. Collected
The second tab. Leads that arrived through a scan, so you can see what the material actually produced rather than guessing from a bump in calls.

How to run it properly
- Set up tracking and generate your codes.
- Print them on the material you actually use.
- Drop a Yard Sign pin every time a sign goes out. This is the step people skip, and skipping it makes the whole system approximate.
- Read Collected monthly against how many signs you put out.
The number worth knowing is bookings per sign placed. That tells you whether to print more, and which neighbourhoods deserve them.
Where the code should point
A QR code should land on a form that takes ten seconds. Use a Quick Quote web form, not your home page. Someone standing on a pavement holding a phone will not navigate a website to find your contact page.
Tips and gotchas
- Pin every sign you place. Without it you have scans but no placements to compare against.
- Point the code at a short form, not your home page.
- Codes need contrast and size. A small code on a busy background does not scan from a car.
- Track per material. Separate codes for yard signs and door hangers tells you which is worth printing.
