The Customers page

Customers is your book of business. Every person you've quoted, worked for or invoiced ends up here, and each one carries their whole history: jobs, estimates, invoices, payments and subscriptions.
On a new account it's empty, and the page tells you so.

1. Adding a customer
The main button changes wording depending on whether you have anyone yet. While the list is empty it reads Create your first customer. Once you have customers it becomes New Customer. Same button, same form.

2. Import with AI
For moving a list off another system. Rather than making you match columns by hand, it reads your file and works out which column is a name, an address or a phone number.
Use this if you're switching from another CRM or a spreadsheet. Adding fifty customers one at a time is not a good evening.

3. Finding it later
Customers is the fifth icon down the sidebar. The global search box at the top right, or Cmd+K, also finds customers by name, phone or email from anywhere in the app.

What the list shows once it fills up
Each row carries the customer's name, address, phone, email, balance and when they were created. Filter tabs appear across the top:
- All is everyone.
- Referrals is customers who came from your referral program.
- Crash Out / Do Not Contact is people who asked to be left alone. Keeping them here rather than deleting them stops you accidentally re-adding them later.
There's a page-size control at the bottom right if 25 rows a page isn't your speed.
Tips and gotchas
- Do Not Contact is a filter, not a delete. That's on purpose. Deleting loses the record that they asked you to stop.
- Search beats scrolling. Cmd+K from anywhere.
- A customer is not a job. Adding someone here doesn't schedule anything. Jobs get created from the customer's record.
